I have worked with the BBC Breakfast team (from Salford) twice now, covering the breaking news of a new Price Cap set by Ofgem.

I have learnt so much from both experiences as a runner and a lot about TV and myself! I think the main skills I picked up and developed were:

• Organisation - I came fully equipped with a clipboard just incase I needed it

• Adapting to work placements and timings - I arrived 30 minutes early at 4.30am.

• Communication between new faces at work and also the guests - They noted that it was a large amount of guests on the day so I made sure I was clearly communicating with everyone

I had the pleasure of meeting both Victoria Derbyshire and Hannah Miller as well as the rest of the Breakfast team and I would love to jump at the opportunity to do something like this again with them in the future.
